The short version

You can read Kaeda without an account, and we do not follow you around. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no third-party pixels on this site. We do not sell your data, and we never will — we sell one thing, a $99 membership, and that is the whole business model.

If you never sign in

We store nothing about you. Our host (Vercel) keeps standard server logs containing IP addresses and request paths for security and debugging, as any web server does.

If you sign in

We keep only what the product actually needs to work:

• Your account — email address, name, and profile picture, as provided by Google when you sign in with it. Sign-in is handled with a session cookie; there is no tracking cookie.
• Cases you save and cases you have opened — so “Your collections” and “Cases you've seen” can show you your own history.
• Your founder profile — the domain, edge, interests, resources and goal you type in yourself. This is used for one purpose: to fill in the launchpad prompt so it is about your situation. You can change or empty it at any time.

If you pay

Payments run through Polar, the merchant of record. Polar collects your billing details and issues the invoice; we never see or store your card. From Polar we read only one thing: whether your subscription is active, so we know to unlock the paid sections.

Who else touches your data

• Vercel — hosts the site (server logs).
• Neon — hosts the database where the above is stored.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Polar — only if you subscribe.

That is the complete list. No one else, and no advertisers.

Your data is yours

Ask and we will send you a copy of everything we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete your account and its data outright. One email to contact@kaeda.co does it — no forms, no retention department. We keep your data only while your account exists; billing records are kept by Polar as long as tax law requires.

Changes

If we ever change this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page and, if the change is meaningful, tell members by email.
