Astalty

Vertical SaaS · NDIS
👤 James Mooring (Ran his own software shop, then built Astalty with support coordinators from inside NDIS. Ships 500+ times a month.)🌐 siteLinkedIn

NDIS spends billions on thousands of small disability providers. Astalty runs their scheduling, billing and admin.

Will it work? · our read
Vertical done right. One product, one country, one government scheme. Growth is real and bootstrapped, but the ceiling and the floor are both set by NDIS policy Astalty can't control.

Revenue is STATED, not filed: James Mooring's MicroConf founder bio and Startups For the Rest of Us #722 (2024) both say Astalty bootstrapped to about $1M ARR in 18 months, on track to $2M — first-party but unaudited. That figure is roughly two years old; the live homepage now shows $8,725,000 invoiced/week versus $2.5M in May 2024, so ARR is likely higher, but the company has not published a newer number, so we headline what they stated. Metrics (1,400+ providers, 118,000 participants) are live homepage claims verified present in the page's raw HTML; invoices are money billed through Astalty, not its own revenue. Bootstrapped, no outside funding per the founder. Co-founder(s) beyond James Mooring are not confirmed by name. Rival weights are our read of reach, not revenue. We never score you.
