Cloakist
👤 Louis Barclay (Serial builder of thin web tools (Unfollow Everything, PikTop). He built Cloakist to be sold: one job, no founder brand attached.)🌐 site𝕏
Louis Barclay built a boring, single-purpose wrapper for no-code pages and sold it on MicroAcquire in under a month.
Will it work? · our read
Built to sell. Small MRR, but everything a buyer needs was already there: recurring revenue, no personal brand, transferable code. That legibility, not size, closed a 2.5x deal in a month.

revenue.sourced = STATED. The about $2k MRR, about 160 customers, $60k price and 2.5x ARR multiple all come from buyer Bruce McLachlan's Indie Hackers writeup (6 May 2022), where seller and founder Louis Barclay confirmed the deal in the comments — first-party to both sides, not audited. MicroAcquire deals are private, so no filing exists. One commenter cited $2,400 MRR; I led with the buyer's stated about $2k and the printed 2.5x ARR multiple. Pricing was re-verified 2026-07-29 by fetching cloak.ist/pricing directly: the rendered Basic plan is $10/mo (Stripe unit_amount 1000), not the $12/mo previously carried from the page's stale meta description — corrected to match the printed plan card. The 10,000+ sites figure was verified from cloak.ist raw HTML. verified:true on first-party confirmation from both parties. We never score you.
