Quebec, Canada · bootstrapped 2011-2023 · sold to saas.group
👤 Stéphane Guérin (Agency marketer who hated building client reports by hand. Built the fix himself and ranked it on SEO for a decade.)🌐 siteLinkedIn

Bootstrapped for 12 years, then made itself boring enough to buy: one CEO, clean equity, predictable numbers.

Will it work? · our read
Sellable by design. Twelve years to $4.7M is slow. But he fixed the thing that blocks deals — a 42% shareholder CEO — two years before selling, and closed at a low 8 figures.

They Got Acquired — revenue at sale ($4.7M / CAD 6.3M), 2,700 customers, the 42% CEO buyout, low-8-figure price.saas.group announcement — buyer confirms 2,700 worldwide customers, 34+ integrations, bootstrapped to acquisition.DashThis pricing — tiers read July 2026: $54-499/mo, priced by dashboards and sources.DashThis, 10 years — Guérin's own account of starting the tool out of agency reporting pain.
Revenue is STATED, not filed: $4.7M (CAD 6.3M) is what Guérin and Paré told They Got Acquired, and that source prints both currencies, so nothing was converted here. That source pairs the $4.7M figure with the same 2,700-customer count used for the August 2023 sale, but does not itself print a year next to $4.7M — the 2023 dating is our read, matched by context, not a direct quote. saas.group's own announcement discloses no revenue and no price. "Low 8 figures" is the outlet's range, not a disclosed term, so the roughly 2-3x multiple is our arithmetic. The 2,700 customer count and 34+ integrations are independently corroborated on the buyer's announcement, which is explicitly dated August 2023. DashThis is private under saas.group and has published nothing since, so current revenue is unknown. Pricing was read from the live pricing page in July 2026: dies and its counter both cite the $324/mo monthly-billed Business tier price to match moneyFlow and rivals, not the $279/mo annual-billed equivalent for that same tier. We never score you.
