Modern Producers

Marketplace · Los Angeles · 1 founder · since 2015
👤 Adrian Wood (Produced for 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Wu-Tang; heads Anno Domini Nation. The producers he sells to already knew his name.)🌐 siteannodominination.com

A multi-platinum producer stopped making the product and started taking a cut of everyone else's.

Will it work? · our read
Sells others' work. A trusted name plus other people's inventory. The catalog grows without him, but nothing stops a vendor listing the same kit on a bigger store tomorrow.

Revenue rose from $85k to $120k a month in the year to March 2020. No figure published since. Starter Story
Founder-stated gross sales through the store. Vendor commissions are paid out of that, so the net take is lower.

The $120k/mo is Adrian Wood's own words in a Starter Story update published 7 Mar 2020, not an audited or filed figure, and it is six years old. He describes it as what the business is "turning over", and the 2019 interview says vendors are paid a commission out of it, so this is gross store sales and the company's net take is lower. Starter Story's profile field prints $233,333/mo on all three pages, but nobody at Modern Producers is quoted saying it, so we did not headline it. The 60,000-producer count is from the 2019 interview only; the same number on the later pages belongs to EasySongLicensing in the sidebar, a different company. Starter Story's header says 0 employees while the 2019 text says "a handful of part-time employees", so we make no solo claim. We confirmed the marketplace is still live and multi-vendor in July 2026 by reading the site's raw HTML. We never score you.
