Will it work? · our read
Durable niche play. A non-technical founder built one of Australia's first expense tools, widened it into full spend management, and bootstrapped to about 1,000 customers before its 2025 ISH sale.

Revenue was never disclosed. The headline is the founder's own figure — about 1,000 customers and 50 employees — stated on the Practical Founders podcast (first-party) and corroborated by ISH's acquisition press ("more than 1,000 businesses, including Nike, WWF, and KFC," dated 03 November 2025). Annual contracts of $15K-40K are from the same podcast; sourced STATED, not audited. Implied ARR is loosely $15-40M, but ProSpend never confirmed a blended figure, so it is not headlined. Bootstrapped as 'expensemanager' (2015), rebranded ProSpend (2023), acquired by Invincible Software Holdings (Nov 2025); Nouh still runs it. We never score you.
