TripBam
👤 Steve Reynolds (Ran corporate-travel tech for 30 years (TRX, WNS) before TripBam, so he knew which negotiated hotel discounts nobody audited.)🌐 siteLinkedIn
Corporate hotel rates keep dropping after you book; TripBam re-shops yours nonstop and rebooks each dip for a fee.
Will it work? · our read
Metered savings. An audit tool that returns 8x its price is easy to buy and hard to drop. But it earns only while hotel rates keep moving, and a T&E suite can absorb the feature.

$8-10M rev, 250 clients, 50 staff — Practical Founders #185 (2026)Emburse acquires TripBam, terms undisclosed — Emburse (2023)Kept standalone, unlike Coupa-Yapta — The Beat (2023)Lifetime: 30M bookings, $500M saved — PYMNTS (2023)
Revenue is STATED, not filed. The $8-10M figure and the 250-client / 50-employee counts are printed in the Practical Founders episode show notes (#185, Feb 2026) quoting founder Steve Reynolds; I read the page directly and the string 'grew to $8-10M in revenue' is on it. TripBam is private and the July 2023 Emburse acquisition terms were undisclosed, so no filed number exists. The value is the page's own range; I did not sharpen it. Emburse's 2023 acquisition PR cites larger lifetime totals (2,000+ customers, $500M saved, 30M bookings, $30B spend) which are cumulative, not annual revenue, so they are kept out of the headline. Founding year differs by source (episode says 2013 consumer launch; Emburse/BusinessWire say 2012); I used 2013 from the first-party episode. verified true via first-party founder disclosure. We never score you.
